Stop the War spoke to two demonstrators for Palestine who will be arriving on wheels

Jamaal Richards – Deen Riders
On Saturday the streets will be alive with the energy of hundreds of thousands of voices united in purpose. People from every walk of life, standing shoulder to shoulder for justice, for peace, and for Palestine.
The Stop the War Coalition and the other members of the Palestine coalition are preparing for a momentous turnout this weekend. But let’s be clear: strength lies in our numbers, and there is no such thing as too many when the cause is just. Every additional person amplifies the message. Every step taken together shakes the halls of power a little more.
This is why the Deen Riders will be in attendance, accompanied by a host of other motorcycle and cycle groups.
Our engines will cry out in solidarity with the people of Palestine and we urge others to attend.
If you ride, then ride for Palestine.
If you cycle, then pedal for peace.
And if you walk, then walk with conviction.
Because this is the time to show up – not just in spirit, but in person.
We’ve heard from mothers in Gaza, messages of resilience and gratitude that remind us what this movement truly means. They see us. They see our solidarity. And they draw strength from it.
We will ride proudly alongside the Stop The War Coalition.
Wojtek Dmochowski – Big Ride for Palestine
I will be riding a 114 year-old Singer bicycle as part of a convoy of cyclists travelling to the demonstration from Luton. It’s one of my collection of 12 bikes, all of them distinct in many ways.
The Singer has been with me on a number of Palestine demonstrations, notably pulling a coffin with me dressed as an undertaker. I actually got arrested for that, but was never charged with anything.
I’ve been joining Big Ride for Palestine – an initiative by cycling enthusiasts to support Palestinians – rides since 2015. We take some extraordinary B road routes and are seen and heard by thousands of people and get a great response. But this next ride is particularly special as it’s a prelude to Saturday’s big demonstration.
We’re going to join up with the Deen Riders motorcycle cavalcade on the day and intend to make it an amazing spectacle!
All to London for Palestine!
If you’re interested in joining the cycle cavalcade tomorrow, email the Stop the War office for details.
