Together Alliance – a new coalition against the division of the far right

STATEMENT

Stop the War is proud to announce our participation in the Together Alliance – a new coalition of over 50+ campaign organisations, civil society groups, celebrities and thousands of ordinary working people united against the division of the far right.

We hear the voices of division in our country growing louder and more confident. A far right party is topping the polls, and far right protests have mobilised their biggest numbers yet.

Their false promises seize on the very real economic problems facing families in order to scapegoat migrants, Muslims and refugees.

Meanwhile, Keir Starmer’s government is beating the drum of war, ploughing billions into arms while hitting households hard. It’s presiding over a country with a massive housing crisis, where schools and hospitals are crumbling and local councils are bankrupt. Yet we remain the sixth biggest military spender in the world.

Our communities desperately need welfare, not warfare, to build solidarity, unity and hope. Anything else just fuels the far right further.

We can change things when we stand together. Which is why we’re asking our supporters to sign up, to inspire others to speak out.

Please add your name to the Together Alliance statement

It’s in this spirit that the Together Alliance will be mobilising and organising in the build-up to a major national demonstration in London next year on Saturday, 28 March 2026.

This is our first public action — and your participation will set the tone, showing that the majority of people in this country stand for unity, not division.

Sign up here and join us at this powerful display of solidarity

Together, we can reject narratives of division and racism, build solidarity across communities and unite against the far right.
