As UCU General Secretary Jo Grady says, workers’ money should fund jobs, pay and public services not weapons and war.
This September, UCU will go back to the TUC Congress to build on last year’s historic motion supporting wages not weapons. UCU will be demanding investment in education, manufacturing and a fairer, greener future. Stop the War is supporting the campaign, and we ask all our supporters to do so too before Congress begins. We will be at the TUC in September this year so watch out for updates.
