2022 has been a year of conflict and instability. The devastating war in Ukraine has seen tens of thousands of lives lost and sent tremors across the globe.
While the Tory government has pumped billions of pounds worth of arms into Ukraine during the most severe squeeze on living standards in living memory, we’ve remained steadfast in the belief that the only way to end this war is through a negotiated peace.
We’re launching our 2022 appeal for £30,000 so we can intensify our calls for peace and sanity in a more and more dangerous world. Please give generously and support us as we campaign to stop the race to war.

Many politicians in the West see the Ukraine war as an opportunity to cripple the Russian economy to free up Washington to face its real target – China. Provocative US statements and visits to Taiwan have increased tensions between the two countries and brought the threat of war ever closer.
In response, our campaigning has reached levels not seen since the early years of Stop the War. New groups have sprung up all over the country, we have held many meetings – online and off – and resisted attacks from the mainstream press and the Labour Party leadership.
We have added hundreds of members, doubled our trade union affiliations, increased our office staff and produced countless campaign materials. To maintain this level of activity and continue to grow we need your help. Every donation, however small, makes a big difference.
