As the genocide in Gaza continues and the war on Iran shows no signs of stopping, European rearmament is gathering pace.
Conscription is returning to the continent, our own government tells us that we must return to a “war footing”. And every day, workers are told that more money will be needed to fund expanding military budgets – and that our crumbling public services and welfare state will pay the price.
Since Stop the War Scotland’s last AGM, the world has become an even more dangerous place.
But the movement against war is growing.
The AGM is where the organisation decides its strategy and policy for the year. All Stop the War (UK) members who live in Scotland, as well as members of Stop the War Scotland, are entitled to attend and vote at the AGM.
