Join us in Wakefield on Thursday 17 July for the People’s Question Time.

We have a great line up of speakers and panellists which includes our national Treasurer, Stephen Bell, as well as:

If you’re a trade unionist opposed to war, racism and austerity, then this is one meeting you don’t want to miss.

Doors open at 6pm for a 6:30pm start.

There will be a number of stalls from various organisations.

 

Travel Information:

Buses – The venue is located across the street from Wakefield Bus Station, where most of the local bus services terminate.

Train – There are two train stations in Wakefield: Westgate and Kirkgate. The venue is approximately a 10 min walk from Wakefield Westgate, and a 20 min walk from Wakefield Kirkgate. Alternatively, there is a free city bus which you can catch from either train station, which will terminate at the bus station.

Car – The venue does have a small car park but, spaces are limited and on a first come, first serve basis. There are 2 Council car parks nearby which are free after 6pm: Borough Street Car Park (which is across the street from the bus station and a 5 min walk) and Tavora Street Car Park (which is just down road from the venue on Marsh Way near the Mr T’s takeaway, and a 5 min walk).
