We are living through one of the most dangeous and volatile political moments in decades. Trade Unions have been and remain vital to the work of the Stop The War Coalition, with most major unions affiliated both nationally and locally to the campaign.
We are inviting you to this discussion in Merseyside to further the
involvement of the trade union movement in local Stop the War activities. We want to decide how can we formalise and deepen the involvement of local trade union branches in the anti-war movement.
We hope the outcome will be clearer tasks and actions that trade unionists and anti-war activists in Merseyside can undertake together. Please reserve the date and and let us know if you are willing and able to attend.
Trade Union branches, Trades Councils and Community Groups will be invited as will a number of elected politicians prominent in the anti-war movement.
