We, students and young people, refuse to be cogs in the war machine. On Friday 20 November, we will join students and young people from across Europe and beyond in striking, protesting, holding assemblies and rallies to say no to war and militarism.
For nearly 3 years, our government has facilitated Israel’s genocide in Gaza. It has supported Trump’s war on Iran. It has fuelled the war in Ukraine. And it has launched a drive to mass rearmament. The new Defence Universities Alliance (UK) is turning cash-strapped universities and colleges into hubs for the military-industrial complex.
