Medical Aid for Iraq is a registered charity, specifically set up to send medical aid for children in Iraq: it was founded at the New Statesman magazine after the Gulf War. MAI is one of the most respected and successful NGO agencies to work in Iraq. They want to raise funds to be able to be ready to go in again with urgently needed supplies, just as soon as the current conditions change and NGOs can go back in.
