Media Release, 10 December 2004 Stop the War Coalition's Benefit Concert Stop the War Coalition's Benefit Concert Friday 17th December 7.30pm St James's Church Peace is not just for Christmas A number of singers and bands are performing at a benefit concert for Medical Aid for Iraq and the Stop the War Coalition on Friday 17 December at St James’s Church in Piccadilly. Compered by comedian JOHN HEGLEY, the concert includes singer CAROL GRIMES and her band, with guest Annie Whitehead on trombone, folk singers BOB DAVENPORT and ROBB JOHNSON, ballad singer ALEX VALENTINE and two exciting bands, The ANGEL BAND and CELLOMAN (IVAN HUSSEY), who has been receiving rave reviews for his mix of world and classical music, jazz and soul.
