Trafalgar Square Peace Camp

‘For Peace and Liberty’

March 16-19th

The Stop the War Coalition together with dozens of other organizations is organizing a Peace Camp on Trafalgar Square. The Camp begins on Wednesday at 5pm with a Press conference in the marquee on the Square.

George Galloway [MP], Kate Hudson [CND chair] and Andrew Murray [STW chair] will be staying overnight on the Thursday.

Public meeting in the Square Thursday 7.30pm

‘Bush wars and terror laws’

Throughout the three days of the Camp there will be music, comedy, poetry, dance, film, drama and jugglers.

We will be protesting against the new terror laws and the restrictions on the right to protest. The Peace Camp is part of the preparations for the anti-war march this coming Saturday.
