Press Conference Room W4 House of Commons Tuesday 1 March 11am Demonstration March 19 – Bring the Troops Home Discontent with the war in Iraq is rippling through the British army. Ray Hewitt, a soldier who fought in the first Gulf war has declared himself a conscientious objector in protest at the war in Iraq. Ray will explain his reasons behind this decision at the press conference. He along with others from Military Families against the War will be leading the demonstration on March 19. On the second anniversary of the war in Iraq the anti-war movement will march once again. As preparations begin for a further war against Iran people in Britain will raise the slogan, ‘No More Bush Wars’. Coaches have been booked from all over the country.
