Bradley Manning is threatened with life imprisonment if he is found guilty of leaking thousands of documents to Wikileaks which exposed war crimes carried out by our governments.

He has been nominated for the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize by an Icelandic MP.

If President Barack Obama, who has has waged war in six countries -- Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen -- can receive this prize, awarded to him in 2009, then why not the person who has done more than anyone to expose to expose the lies, the mass slaughter and the torture which have been hidden from us in ten years of the "war on terror"?
