Sanctions against Iran are an act of war, says John Rees of Stop the War Coalition, aimed at preparing public opinion in the US, Britain and other allied countries for a military attack.
Attacking Iran would be even more catastropic than the Iraq war, with the potential of drawing in China and Russia in support of Iran.
But that is the road down which the hawks in the Obama administration are now embarked -- in cohoots with the Israeli government which is itching to start bombing.
