Talk of Revolutions
by Martin Powell
There is talk of revolutions - institutions in despair
The world is waking up - and you can feel it in the air
It's clear in the atmosphere our world is re-arranging
Shifting like tectonic plates - the human race is changing
It's strange how time will always show how nothing ever lasts
That tides will turn with lessons learned and swallow up the past
We will no longer stand for such brutality of mind
We are stronger now that we believe in humankind
You can't supress us anymore - not in the west nor east
The future's knocking at your door - a man who calls for peace
