Peter Burt, Co-Chair NET
Carol's recently-published book is an absorbing account of the controversies over Labour's nuclear weapons policy across 70 years, and looks at the challenges facing Labour's anti-Trident leader Jeremy Corbyn as he steers his party through turbulent times. The book is the product of NET-funded research which includes in-depth interviews with 'expert witnesses' all sides of the debate and untapped archival material, to tell a rich and complex story about the interaction between the different strands of opinion within the Labour Party.
