The North Korean H-Bomb test was a frightening step in the nuclear stand-off on the Korean peninsula. Responding to the question “Mr. President, will you attack North Korea?”, Donald Trump replied “We’ll see”. Since then Trump has threatened to 'Totally destroy' North Korea at the UN General Assembly. The threat of nuclear war is real.
The background to the crisis includes major military manoeuvres involving an estimated 17,500 US and 50,000 South Korean troops near the border of North Korea.
