| Invitation from Tony Benn |
| “The Iraq war has been a disaster. The majority of our citizens believe that we should end our involvement in George Bush’s wars but there have been few debates in parliament and public anxieties have rarely found expression in the democratic process. That is why I would like to invite you to take part in this People’s Assembly which aims to provide an opportunity for a full and open debate on the war and the way to end it.” - TONY BENN President of Stop the War Coalition |
